Bolzano State Police intensifies checks: eight individuals reported and an undocumented citizen taken to the CPR (Research and Treatment Center).

An extraordinary territorial control service, strengthened by the Bolzano Police Headquarters, led to the reporting of eight people and the accompaniment of an irregular Tunisian citizen to the CPR of Milano, following investigations into his legal status.

Targeted checks and interventions by the Flying Squad

As part of strategies to prevent and combat widespread illegal activity, Police Chief Giuseppe Ferrari has increased surveillance in sensitive urban areas. During the night, the Flying Squad observed a young man crouching behind a camper van on Via Maso della Pieve, intent on hitting a bicycle with a rock. The man, a 23-year-old Italian citizen with a criminal record, was stopped and taken to the police headquarters, where he was charged with theft and possession of offensive objects. During the search, scissors used to break the bicycle's lock were also seized.

Cocaine hidden in bread seized

During another operation, officers observed two men secluded in a side street in the historic center. While searching a 37-year-old Moroccan man, officers discovered that a loaf of stale bread contained approximately 5 grams of cocaine. The man was charged with possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.

Reports for failure to comply with the expulsion order

On the same day, six foreign citizens were reported for failure to comply with the expulsion order by the Municipality of Bolzano. Interventions also involved the Brenner area, where a 23-year-old Tunisian citizen was found illegally residing in Italy. Upon orders from the Police Commissioner, the individual was taken to the CPR in Milano to complete the expulsion procedures.

This activity demonstrates the State Police's constant attention to monitoring high-risk urban areas, particularly property crimes and drug dealing. The coordinated efforts between patrols and Immigration Offices aim to ensure safety and legality, protecting citizens and regulating the presence of illegal immigrants in the area.
