Marcianise: Carabinieri checks street prostitution, 11 fines issued.

Extraordinary service in the areas most affected by the phenomenon

Eleven people were fined and patrols were stepped up in the areas most affected by street prostitution . This is the result of the extraordinary operation carried out last night by the Carabinieri of the Marcianise Station , with the support of the Operations and Radiomobile Unit of the Marcianise Company and the military of the Gricignano di Aversa Station . The operation is part of the territorial control plan developed by the force to counter situations that affect safety and urban decorum, with particular attention to areas reported for the presence of street prostitution.

Checks following the ordinance issued by the Municipality of Marcianise

The service was organized in compliance with the mayoral ordinance issued by the Municipality of Marcianise on July 13 , aimed at regulating the phenomenon and preventing behaviors that could create problems for the livability of public spaces. During the checks, the officers identified numerous people present in the areas affected by the measure, proceeding to verify compliance with the provisions of the municipal ordinance.

Eleven contested administrative sanctions

At the end of the operations, a total of 11 administrative fines were imposed . Six of the fines concerned women caught engaging in street prostitution, while five other fines were issued to clients attempting to negotiate or use services in the areas subject to inspection. The total fines imposed amounted to €3.000 . The competent administrative authority was informed of the outcome of the operation for subsequent action.

Monitoring of the territory continues

The intervention is part of a broader prevention and control effort implemented by the Carabinieri to ensure compliance with local ordinances and respond to citizens' safety concerns. The force will continue to maintain high levels of vigilance in the areas most affected by the phenomenon, through targeted services and a constant presence, with the aim of protecting urban decorum and strengthening community safety.
