The Cremona State Police 's territorial control operations continue , aimed at preventing and combating predatory crimes and illegal situations. During a routine patrol of the Police Headquarters, officers checked a car in an area of ​​the city near the city center. The car was occupied by two Italian women, aged 69 and 47 , both with numerous criminal records for property crimes and possession of burglary tools. During the search of the vehicle, officers found several valuable items , believed likely to be linked to previous thefts. The items were seized, and the two women were reported at large to the Judicial Authority for the crime of receiving stolen goods.

Casalmaggiore, pursuit after a traffic police stop

The following evening, another intervention involved personnel from the Cremona Traffic Police Section . During a checkpoint in the town of Casalmaggiore , officers ordered a BMW 3 Series Touring with four people on board to stop. The driver, however, instead of stopping, continued on, sparking a lengthy pursuit. The vehicle was subsequently abandoned near a gas station, while the occupants managed to escape by fleeing into the surrounding countryside.

Lock picks, fake license plates and two-way radios were found in the car.

The investigations carried out on the vehicle led to the discovery of numerous items deemed of investigative interest. Inside the passenger compartment , lock picks, pliers, screwdrivers, hammers, a precision scale, two-way radios, and several fake and counterfeit license plates were found. The State Police Forensic Unit also responded to the scene , conducting thorough technical examinations of the entire passenger compartment in search of evidence useful for identifying the BMW's occupants and determining any liability.
