Evening and night services against crime and traffic violations

In recent days, the Carabinieri of the Cesenatico Company have intensified extraordinary patrols in the area, deploying patrols from the Mobile Radio Operations Unit, its associated stations, and the 2nd Liguria Battalion. The operation, concentrated in the evening and nighttime hours, aimed to prevent crime, combat dangerous driving, and crack down on drug-related violations.

The most heavily monitored areas included the busiest thoroughfares and areas of greatest operational interest. The military's preventative action led to nine people being reported to the Forlì Public Prosecutor's Office, including motorists, foreign citizens, and individuals caught engaging in unlawful behavior.

Reports for drunk driving and administrative violations

Four drivers were reported for driving under the influence of alcohol, with levels between 0,90 g/l and 1,49 g/l. Their licenses were confiscated, and the vehicles were handed over to drivers. One foreign citizen, without valid documents and a residence permit, was taken to the Repatriation Detention Center for deportation. Another foreign citizen was reported for failure to produce documents and a residence permit, with subsequent regularization at the Immigration Office.

Thefts and building violations

During the checks, a foreign national was reported for aggravated theft after being caught stealing merchandise from a large retailer. The stolen goods were recovered and returned to the rightful owner. Two homeless foreign nationals were reported for conspiracy to commit trespassing, invasion of buildings, and property damage after being caught sleeping in an unused hotel room.

Seizures of narcotic substances

During the operation, three young people were reported to the Prefecture of Forlì-Cesena for possession of small quantities of hashish, totaling approximately 10 grams, found in parks and meeting places. The substance was administratively seized to protect the safety of the young people and the community.
