Forlimpopoli, stalking against a peer: minor placed in a community
The Carabinieri of Forlimpopoli have placed a minor under investigation for stalking a peer in a community.
In recent days, Carabinieri officers from the Forlimpopoli station executed a restraining order issued by the Emilia-Romagna Juvenile Court in Bologna, placing a minor residing in the city center in a community. The measure was adopted as part of a proceeding conducted by the Juvenile Justice Authority, following investigations conducted by Carabinieri officers under the direction of the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Juvenile Court of Bologna.
Investigations after the reports
The investigation was initiated following reports of another minor who, in several incidents between late 2025 and early 2026, allegedly suffered stalking from a peer. The incidents allegedly occurred near shopping areas and restaurants in Forlimpopoli, places frequented by young people and families. The reports prompted the Carabinieri to investigate the matter further to reconstruct the circumstances of the incidents and identify any potential culprits.
Bullying, beatings and attempts to steal objects
According to the investigation, the minor victim of the reported behavior was subjected to bullying, beatings, shoving, and even attempted theft of personal items. The incidents, which occurred repeatedly over time, outlined a serious situation considered by investigators, given the context in which they occurred and the continuity of the behaviors alleged against the alleged perpetrator.
The role of video surveillance images
During their investigation, the Carabinieri of the Forlimpopoli Station also acquired and analyzed video surveillance footage from the affected areas. These investigations confirmed the reported version of events and identified the alleged perpetrator. In some circumstances, according to the reconstruction, the minor allegedly used an intimidating "frame" provided by the presence of other children his age.
The first precautionary measure ordered by the investigating judge
In light of the investigative findings presented by the Bologna Juvenile Prosecutor's Office, the competent preliminary investigations judge initially ordered the minor to remain in his home. The order was immediately executed by the Carabinieri of the Forlimpopoli station, in accordance with the requirements established by the Juvenile Judicial Authority.
Violations of the prescriptions
Subsequently, the officers discovered repeated violations of the minor's previous orders. These violations were promptly reported to the competent Juvenile Justice Authority, which assessed the overall situation and issued a new, more restrictive precautionary measure. These violations led to his transfer from home confinement to placement in a dedicated facility.
Placement in a community in the Bologna area
The new order therefore established the minor's placement in a community in the Bologna area. This measure, more stringent than the previous one, was carried out by the Carabinieri of Forlimpopoli in accordance with the Juvenile Court's orders.
An intervention to protect the victim and the community
The Carabinieri's activity confirms the force's attention to situations involving minors and repeated acts of bullying, especially when the incidents occur in public places and areas frequented by the community. Investigations, video analysis, and the consistent reporting of violations have allowed them to reconstruct the alleged incidents and implement the measures ordered by the Juvenile Justice Authority.
