A long escalation of violence and threats has culminated in the arrest of a 25-year-old man by Carabinieri officers from the Pozzuoli branch. The incident occurred in Bacoli , near Naples, and according to investigators, it stemmed from the end of a romantic relationship, which the young man found difficult to digest, which resulted in a series of assaults against his ex-partner and her family. The man was arrested on charges of stalking, assault, and aggravated threats and transferred to prison pending judicial decisions.

The sequence of events apparently began in the afternoon, when a heated exchange of messages between the 25-year-old and his ex-partner escalated into serious threats. According to the Carabinieri's reconstruction, the young man told the girl he wanted to go to his home and threatened her and her father with intimidating comments. The young woman, frightened by the situation, alerted her father, who went to her home to protect her.

The attack on the mother: push, fall and bite on the arm

Before leaving the house, the 25-year-old reportedly had an argument with his mother, who advised him to stop all behavior toward his ex-partner and leave her alone. The young man's reaction was reportedly violent: according to investigators' theory, he pushed the woman, causing her to fall and hitting her head on the arm of the sofa. He then bit her arm before leaving the house. The woman was then taken to the emergency room by several family members.

Armed with a knife, he confronts his ex's father-in-law

After attacking his mother, the 25-year-old reportedly drove to his ex-partner's home on a scooter. According to reports, he was carrying a kitchen knife. There, he encountered the girl's father, who was also carrying a baseball bat. The situation could have escalated further, but the intervention of a passerby prevented a direct confrontation between the two.

The threat to the sister and the broken door

The young man then allegedly headed toward his sister's home, still holding the knife and expressing aggressive intentions toward her. According to the Carabinieri's reconstruction, the 25-year-old allegedly punched the front door until it broke, insulting and threatening other people in the area before managing to escape.

The last episode in the emergency room and the arrest

The sequence of violence reportedly continued in the emergency room, where the young man encountered his father. This incident also resulted in an assault: the 25-year-old slapped him, pushed him to the ground, and attempted to strangle him, before fleeing again. An investigation launched by Carabinieri officers from the Mobile Radio Unit and the Pozzuoli, Monteruscello, and Licola stations led to the young man's location shortly thereafter. Following investigations, the 25-year-old was arrested and taken to prison, where he is being held by the judicial authorities.
