Castellammare, 35-year-old man arrested for domestic violence after wife beating after argument

Carabinieri officers from the Mobile Radio Section of the Castellammare di Stabia Company arrested a 35-year-old local man on charges of domestic violence . The operation began during dinnertime, when officers were alerted by a call to the 112 Emergency Number regarding a situation of domestic violence.

The argument with his wife and the assault

According to the Carabinieri's reconstruction, shortly before the patrol arrived, the 35-year-old man had a violent argument with his 44-year-old wife. The argument was sparked by accusations of infidelity made by the man against his partner. The argument then escalated into physical assault, with the woman being repeatedly struck.

The intervention of the 14-year-old son was decisive

The couple's 14-year-old son reportedly stopped the violence by stepping in to defend his mother and stop his father. When the Carabinieri arrived at the home, they subdued the man, while the woman was taken into the care of paramedics and taken to the hospital.

The woman was hospitalized with injuries and bruises.

Medical tests revealed multiple bruises and a head injury in the 44-year-old , consequences of the attack. The police then arrested the 35-year-old, who, under the investigation, is believed to be responsible for domestic violence.

Marijuana also found: arrested and transferred to prison

During the investigation, the man was also found in possession of several doses of marijuana. After his arrest, the 35-year-old was transferred to prison and held by the judicial authorities.
