A vast, extraordinary territorial control operation covered the main coastal towns along the Roman coast, from Fiumicino to Anzio , passing through Fregene, Ladispoli, Cerveteri, and Nettuno . The operation, coordinated by the State Police with the support of specialized units and local police forces, was designed to strengthen security in the most popular seaside areas during the summer season.
Over 250 people identified and 120 vehicles checked
The overall outcome of the operation was over 250 identified individuals and 120 vehicles inspected . During the operations, two arrests were made, while four foreign citizens were taken to the Immigration Office of the Police Headquarters for verification of their whereabouts in Italy.
Three people found in possession of small quantities of narcotics for personal use were also fined and reported to the Prefecture. Numerous traffic violations were also reported by officers during checkpoints.

Beach resorts, clubs and nightlife areas are protected
The security measures included beach resorts, commercial establishments, train stations, nightlife hotspots, and major traffic arteries. The goal was to prevent and combat predatory crime, drug dealing, illegal immigration, and dangerous driving behavior.
Officers alternated static and dynamic checks, checking people and vehicles in transit and intervening in areas considered most exposed to the influx of residents and tourists. Particular attention was paid to the evening and nighttime hours, when the presence of young people and those frequenting coastal clubs increases.
107 people identified at Fiumicino
The first part of the operation focused on the Fiumicino area , where the State Police operated with the support of the Albano Highway Police. A total of 107 people were identified and 48 vehicles were checked.
During the checks, a violation of the Highway Code was reported. Furthermore, in Fregene, two men were stopped while riding a motorcycle with their license plates hidden. During the check, they were found in possession of a small amount of marijuana and, for this reason, were fined and reported to the Prefecture.
Caught outside his home while under house arrest
The most significant operation in the Fiumicino area stemmed from an initially routine check. Officers located a 49-year-old Roman man who, despite being under house arrest, was outside his home.
Further investigations also linked the man to a theft committed a few days earlier at a local pizzeria. According to investigators' reconstruction, the 49-year-old forced entry to the establishment and stole the cash register drawer.
Cash register drawer recovered
During the investigation, the stolen cash register drawer was found hidden in a green area. A subsequent house search also allowed officers to recover several burglary tools, which, according to the investigation, were used to break into the pizzeria.
A small amount of hashish was also found in the man's wallet. Possession of the drug resulted in an administrative fine and a report to the Prefecture. The man was also reported to the judicial authorities for aggravated theft and unauthorized possession of altered keys or lock picks, in addition to charges related to the violation of the precautionary measure.
Checks at premises between Ladispoli and Cerveteri
The operation continued up the coast towards Ladispoli and Cerveteri , where officers operated with the support of the Port Authority. The checks focused primarily on nightlife areas and public establishments frequented during summer evenings.
During the operation, 47 people were identified, 22 vehicles were checked, and three businesses were inspected. The investigations focused on both compliance with administrative regulations and the presence of suspicious individuals or those involved in potential illegal activities.
He flees at the stop sign and is arrested after the chase
During one of the checkpoints, a driver failed to stop at the officers' command and fled at high speed. The chase continued through local roads and required the assistance of the Ladispoli Highway Police sub-section. Once stopped, the driver was arrested and charged with resisting arrest and assaulting a public officer.
Checks at the Lido di Lavinio station
The final part of the service covered the areas of Anzio and Nettuno , where officers from the local police station worked alongside the drug-detection canine unit and the local police.
The checks focused on the area around the Lido di Lavinio train station, considered a major transit and connection point for the coast. The activity was particularly focused on combating illegal immigration, drug dealing, and traffic violations.
Four foreigners escorted to the Immigration Office
In the Anzio and Nettuno areas, 98 people and 50 vehicles were checked. Four foreign citizens, found without identification documents, were taken to the offices on Via Patini for further investigation to determine their whereabouts within the country.
Three of them have been reported for failing to comply with the Police Commissioner's order to leave Italy. Administrative and investigative inquiries will continue to determine whether further measures under immigration law are warranted.
Two vehicles were seized and numerous violations were reported.
The extraordinary operation concluded with the administrative seizure of two vehicles and numerous traffic violations. The checks covered, among other aspects, the correctness of documents, the condition of the vehicles, and compliance with traffic regulations.
