Intensive patrolling with the aid of mounted units
The Carabinieri of the Marsala Company, implementing the directives established by the Prefecture of Trapani within the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Security, conducted an extraordinary territorial patrol. The operation, aimed at preventing and suppressing crime, targeted the main social gathering areas, with particular attention to nightlife areas, and was carried out with the invaluable assistance of a mounted patrol from the 4th Carabinieri Mounted Regiment, also engaged in coastal patrols.
Arrests and reports during the service
During the operation, the officers identified and reported several individuals to the Marsala Public Prosecutor's Office. These included a 48-year-old man caught driving with a blood alcohol level above the legal limit, a 26-year-old man charged with repeated driving without a license, and a 23-year-old man for failure to comply with a special surveillance order. Furthermore, the Carabinieri executed a warrant suspending an alternative measure of house arrest, arresting a 47-year-old local man and taking him to the Trapani prison. All proceedings are currently in the preliminary investigation phase, and the criminal liability of the suspects will be determined only following a final sentence.

In addition to enforcement actions, the operation included the identification and inspection of numerous vehicles and their occupants. The use of mounted patrols allowed for comprehensive monitoring of the coastline, ensuring the safety of residents and tourists visiting over the weekend. The operation was greatly appreciated by residents and aroused curiosity among children, who were struck by the majesty of the Carabinieri horses, helping to strengthen the perception of legality and safety in the area.
