Twenty events featuring music, theater, and dance: from Camilleri to Maria Callas, through artistic influences and big names from the Italian and international scene.

It was presented at the City Hall, the 84th Season 2025-2026 of the Camerata Musicale Barese. With twenty events scheduled, the new edition offers a wide range of artistic experiences, with languages ​​ranging from classic to the dance, From songwriter al musical theater, maintaining the balance between tradition and innovation which has distinguished the Camerata for over eighty years.

The meeting was attended by the Councillor for Culture Paula Romano, the artistic director Dino De Palmathe president Gianna Fratta, the honorary president Giulio Volpe and the regional director Aldo Patruno. Mayor Vito Leccese he underlined the value of the Camerata as a historical institution that from 1941 accompanies the cultural and social life of the city, defining it as a point of reference for the community.

Councillor Romano highlighted the character collaborative of the new season, which will open with a tribute to the centenary of Andrea Camilleri, in synergy with Puglia Culture and the Camilleri 100 Committee. Shared objective: bring more and more people closer to culture as a tool for collective growth and social well-being. The artistic director Dino De Palma spoke of a “a harmonious blend of great classics and new narratives”, a program that can excite and involve new generations.

The season, as declared by the regional councilor Viviana Matrangola, moves between contemporary and classic, with events ranging fromtribute to Camilleri al final tribute to Maria Callas, through artistic contaminations and innovative shows. Among the protagonists:

  • Paolo Briguglia, Maurizio Micheli, Laura Morante, and Lina Sastri for “Camilleri 100”

  • Arisa with the Magna Grecia Orchestra

  • The Soprano Maria Agresta in “Echoes of Love”

  • The violinist Alexander Quarta with the special participation of Ermal Meta

  • Aldo Cazzullo and Moni Ovadia with “The Romance of the Bible”

  • Il Ballet of Rome with “The Nutcracker”

  • Maxim Vengerov and Polina Osetinskaya, stars of the international scene

  • The Pianist Fazil Say

  • The company NoGravity Theatre with “Divina Commedia Reloaded”

  • Events dedicated to Alda Merini, Tolstoy and the grand finale with "I lived for Art. I lived for Maria", tribute to Maria Callas.

The season is supported by the Ministry of Culture, From Puglia region, from Municipality of Bari and from private partners through Art Bonus, in addition to European and regional funds. subscriptions they go from €100 to €500 for the entire season, with reduced formulas for students and teachers, while the single tickets they cost from €15 to €44.
