The 37th edition of Vivicittà will be held in Bari: a race to promote health and well-being.

Il 5 6 and April, Bari will host the 37th edition of Vivicittà, the historic running event organised by Uisp Bari at the same time as 44 Italian cities and 6 foreign ones. The The race will start at 9.30 from Parco 2 Giugno, where the arrival is also expected, and will develop on a route of 10 km crossing the three city bridges, while another itinerary of 4 km it will be dedicated to a fun-sports walk.

I Event details were presented to City Palace, in the presence of the mayor Vito Leccese, the councilor for tourism Pietro Petruzzelli, the president of Uisp Bari Tiziana Zenzola and numerous representatives of the sports and healthcare world.

“Vivicittà is much more than a race”, has explained Tiziana Zenzola, underlining how the event has become a symbol of wellbeing, solidarity and sustainability for the city. Pietro Petruzzelli also highlighted the importance of the race for Bari, recalling that this event paved the way for many other city foot races.

One of the most significant aspects of this edition is the collaboration with Running Heart: at Prevention Village, set up the 5th April, it will be possible to carry out free electrocardiograms and blood sugar controls thanks to the collaboration with theNational Association of Hospital Cardiologists andUniversity of Bari.

Among the new features of the edition 2025, whoever participates in the race will be able to access the free Vintage Market Bari, the exhibition dedicated to reuse, which will be held in Fiera del Levante. In addition, a photographic contest which will involve the students of theSantarella Institute of Bari.

Il race kit can be withdrawn on 5th April since Vivicittà Village, open from 9am to 18.30pm in Largo 2 Giugno.
