Fuel prices continue to rise: highway prices are above €2.

Further fuel price increases in Italy: the price of gasoline and diesel fuel continues to rise, driven by the rise in refined product prices. Self-service diesel fuel reaches €2,059 per liter, its highest price since April 26, while gasoline reaches €1,920 per liter. On the highway, the average price of gasoline once again exceeds €2 per liter. 

This morning, July 17, the average self-service fuel price along the national road network is €1,920/l for gasoline (up 10 thousandths from yesterday), €2,059/l for diesel (up 19 thousandths), €0,747/l for LPG (-1 thousandth), and €1,567/kg for methane (up 4 thousandths). On the motorway network, the average self-service price is €2,010/l for gasoline (up 12 thousandths), €2,134/l for diesel (up 23 thousandths), €0,881/l for LPG (-1 thousandth), and €1,589/kg for methane (unchanged). According to Staffetta Quotidiana's regular survey, Eni has increased its recommended prices for gasoline by two cents per liter and those for diesel by three cents. For IP, there has been a two-cent increase for gasoline and diesel. For Q8 +2 cents on petrol and +1 on diesel. 

Breaking down the prices by sales method and brand using data collected at 8:00 a.m. yesterday, considering all approximately 20,000 points of sale that report prices to the Price Observatory of the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy (road and motorway network combined), these are the average prices calculated by Staffetta: self-service petrol at €1,913/litre (companies €1,919, unlicensed pumps €1,900), self-service diesel at €2,042/litre (companies €2,044, unlicensed pumps €2,038). Self-service petrol at €2,048/litre (companies €2,090, unlicensed pumps €1,970), self-service diesel at €2,177/litre (companies €2,214, unlicensed pumps €2,106). LPG served at 0,757 euros/litre (companies 0,766, white pumps 0,747), methane served at 1,563 euros/kg (companies 1,562, white pumps 1,564), LNG 1,441 euros/kg (companies 1,447 euros/kg, white pumps 1,436 euros/kg).

On self-service petrol Eni is at 1,920 euro/litre (2,128 served); IP at 1,921 (2,088 served); Q8 at 1,911 (2,071 served); Tamoil at 1,928 (2,002 served); on self-service diesel Eni is at 2,026 (2,236 served); IP at 2,040 (2,208 served); Q8 at 2,053 (2,208 served) and Tamoil at 2,063 (2,138 served).
