MotoGP: Marquez takes pole at the German GP ahead of his brother Alex. Bezzecchi crashes.
Marc Marquez took pole position for the German MotoGP Grand Prix. Today, Saturday, July 11, the Ducati rider set the fastest time of 1919.041 in qualifying at the Sachsenring circuit, followed by his brother, Alex (Gresini), and Fabio Di Giannantonio (VR46). Fernandez's KTM Tech 3 finished fourth, while Ogura's Trackhouse finished fifth.
Quartararo finished sixth on his Yamaha, while Morbidelli finished seventh on his VR46. Marco Bezzecchi crashed on his Aprilia, crashing at Turn 7 during Q2. He will start eighth ahead of his teammate and World Championship leader Jorge Martin, while Bagnaia finished eleventh.
