Rome: Car crashes into embankment, injuring three youths

Firefighters were on scene overnight in Rome following a serious traffic accident on Via della Cecchignola. For reasons currently under investigation, a car carrying three young people left the roadway and plunged into a steep slope with a drop of approximately five meters. Two of the young people were immediately handed over to emergency personnel, while the third, trapped in the wreckage, was extracted by firefighters. Immobilized on a stretcher and recovered with a ladder truck, he was handed over to paramedics. All three were transported to the hospital. Law enforcement was also on site to conduct an assessment.
