Railways, Salvini: "The Pigneto hub will be operational by early 2027, making it Rome's fourth station."

The RFI construction site in Pigneto, Rome, will benefit "students, commuters, and tourists, and will reunite the two sides of the Pigneto district." Minister Matteo Salvini made this statement during a visit to the construction site of the new Pigneto interchange. Beneath the square, "trains will pass, connecting the stations and the subway, but above all, there will be a plaza, benches, trees, and a playground. Two neighborhoods that have always been divided will be reunited once the work is completed, with a station that could become Rome's fourth most important." Salvini specified that the site will be "operational by the beginning of next year."
