Sinner undergoes further checks after his injury and birthday in Monte Carlo.

Jannik Sinner spent mid-August at JMedical before celebrating his birthday in his native Monte Carlo. The Italian tennis player underwent further tests today to continue his recovery from the knee injury that forced him to miss the Cincinnati Masters 1000, a tournament he reached as a finalist, and to focus on the US Open, the final Grand Slam of the year, starting in two weeks. 

Sinner, therefore, continued to work at Juventus' medical facility on August 1th, and is scheduled to return to Monte Carlo tomorrow. The world number one will therefore celebrate his 25th birthday at home, something he hasn't done since 2020, having been busy in recent years with the American tournaments leading up to the US Open.
