Plane lands and pilot sees a 'flying object': "It was a UFO"

A UFO... at Gatwick. An airliner pilot reported seeing what looked like a "flying saucer" just as he was preparing to land at London's airport. A mystery that was 'confirmed' by another pilot, who reported that what appeared to be a drone came so close to his plane that he could see its propellers. 

The incident occurred last April in London, sparking a series of investigations: "The A319 pilot reports that, during a descent and a left turn, he saw a drone, presumably saucer-shaped or 'flying saucer,' flying very close in the opposite direction, at the same altitude, passing close to his starboard wing," the Sun reports, "about 30-90 meters from the wing of their plane. The object looked like a disc with darker markings on the edge, likely a drone, but we are not certain." 

"It was very close to the plane, but no evasive action was necessary because they were already in a turn," the report states, according to which the flying object significantly reduced the aircraft's safety. Investigators from the UK Airproximity Board, to shed light on the matter, brought up a second 'incident,' also in London: "The pilot of the A321 reports that, during a left turn on approach to Heathrow Airport, a drone was seen flying over the left side of the plane at a distance close enough to distinguish details such as its color, shape, and individual rotating propellers."

Last week, the same Board that conducted the investigation revealed that two pilots had reported a possible UFO flying over the North Sea, near Norfolk, last February. A crew member of the Voyager tanker saw the unidentified object flying about 30-40 meters away at high speed. A Typhoon fighter pilot confirmed the same, having seen the alleged UFO while on his way to refuel.
