It's the final day of competition at the European Swimming Championships in Paris. Today, Sunday, August 16th, Italy returns to the pool in pursuit of more medals after yesterday's 4-day haul, when Martinenghi won gold in the breaststroke, Cerasuolo and Gastaldi took silver in the breaststroke and 200-meter medley, respectively, and Curtis took bronze in the 50-meter freestyle, setting an Italian record. Today, all eyes are on Thomas Ceccon and Simona Quadarella.
The Azzurri are chasing their last medals.
