Carlo Alberto Dalla Chiesa: “The Man, the General” – Dialogue with Simona Dalla Chiesa at the Apollo Theatre in Lecce

On Monday 10 March 2025, at 10:00, the Teatro Apollo in Lecce will become the stage for an extraordinary event involving over 700 students from secondary schools throughout the province of Lecce. In a context of cultural and social relevance, students will have the opportunity to talk with Simona dalla Chiesa, daughter of General Carlo Alberto dalla Chiesa, an emblematic figure in the fight against the mafia and a symbol of legality. The event is part of the “Port_Actors of Legality” project, an initiative promoted by the Provincial Carabinieri Command of Lecce and shared by the School Office of the Provincial Territorial Area, with the aim of raising awareness among new generations on the issues of justice, legality and civil commitment.

The central theme of the event, “The Man, the General” aims to illustrate the legacy of values and the leadership model left by General Dalla Chiesa, through an engaging journey that alternates moments of reflection, art and music. It will not be a simple intervention by Simona dalla Chiesa, but a direct dialogue with the students and Colonel Donato D'Amato, where the children of the “Presidio di LIBERA” schools will be able to ask questions and actively participate in the discussion. Furthermore, there will be civil, religious and military authorities, the school principals who have joined the project, the delegate of “LIBERA PUGLIA” and “NAMES FOR ANTONIO MONTINARO”, as well as Maestro Raffaele Casarano of “LOCOMOTIVE JAZZ FESTIVAL”.
