Lecco Talent Lab: Free training session on Tuesday, June 9th, "Mountain Tourism: When Developing the Local Area Becomes a Profession"

The route is promoted by the Municipality of Lecco together with the Municipalities of Abbadia Lariana and Mandello del Lario, in collaboration with the Como-Lecco Chamber of Commerce.

The second meeting will be on Tuesday 9th June open to all young people between 18 and 35 years old on the theme: “Mountain tourism: when promoting the territory becomes a profession. The speakers will be: Maddalena Brivio and Paolo Guarisco, AMM Collegio Guide Alpine Lombardia. The tour begins at 10:00 a.m. with a walk to the Piani Resinelli lookout point with its panoramic walkway. Along the way the Speakers will share what brought them to this point, dedicating themselves fully to this type of activity. They will continue with stories of their educational journey, a blend of skills acquired through courses of study and practical experience. A lunch break will follow, and at 2:00 pm there will be a workshop to reflect together on how to discover and enhance one's resources and what skills are needed to shape one's career in the mountains.

Youth and Business – 2nd edition is the training dedicated to those who wish to get closer to the world of youth entrepreneurship, with particular attention to the Pian dei Resinelli area.

This path falls within the scope of the call “Young People and Business” – 2nd edition, promoted by the Municipality of Lecco together with the Municipalities of Abbadia Lariana and Mandello del Lario, in collaboration with the Como-Lecco Chamber of Commerce. 

The route provides three free training and orientation meetings, accompanied by two field experiences, to discover first-hand concrete examples of business linked to the mountain territory.

The route is designed for young people between 18 and 35 years:

• high school seniors
• University students
• young people who are unemployed or looking for new job opportunities

It will be a unique opportunity for those interested in building their professional future in mountain and naturalistic contexts.

The initiative aims to show how they can arise sustainable business ideas in the mountains, through firsthand testimonies of those who have chosen to live and work in the area, transforming a passion into a profession.

The meetings will be held at the headquarters of the Piani Resinelli Tourist Office, in via Escursionisti 2, and will take place over the course of an entire day: in the morning – from 10.00 to 12.30 – the speakers and their activities will be presented, with a in-depth account of entrepreneurial experiences, from the origins of the idea to the choices made, up to the difficulties encountered and the collaborations built in the area; in the afternoon – from 14.30pm to 16.30pm – participants will be involved in practical activities and moments of discussion, working in small groups on concrete cases related to mountain enterprise.

Every meeting is with limited access, providing for a maximum of 15 participants.

FIELD EXPERIENCES

The route also includes two field trips, Including:

• Saturday, May 20 – Gervasoni Mill, FAI property (Baresi, hamlet of Roncobello – BG)
• Wednesday, June 24 – Activities at the Ariaal Refuge, at Alpe Ariale, run by three young people, who will share their experiences and choices.
