Mantua, Carabinieri checks: fake physiotherapist reported and driver tested positive for cocaine.

Three Carabinieri operations in the Mantua area: an illegal healthcare practice was discovered, a false suicide alert was cleared up, and a driver was reported following an accident.

Carabinieri from the NAS (National Health Unit) of Cremona conducted checks on healthcare and licensed professions. A 36-year-old man was reported in Castiglione delle Stiviere and is accused of unlawful practice of physiotherapy . The 36-year-old had rented space within a local gym, where he allegedly performed services specifically for physiotherapists, including using Tecar therapy equipment . According to what the officers found during the check, however, the man did not possess the necessary qualification to practice healthcare. His only declared qualification was that of head lifeguard masseur , which is not sufficient to perform activities reserved for physiotherapists.

The complaint after the NAS check

The Carabinieri Anti-Adult Food Safety and Health Unit's inspection allowed them to reconstruct the situation and uncover the alleged irregularity. Following the investigation, the 36-year-old was reported to the judicial authorities for the alleged crime. The man's position will now be assessed in the subsequent phases of the proceedings.

The Carabinieri found the man and clarified the meaning of the message

The situation ended without consequences, thanks in part to the man's personal acquaintance with the Quistello patrol's crew leader. The officers went directly to the man's home, where he opened the door without showing any particular signs of distress or self-harm. During the interview with the Carabinieri, the man confirmed that he had sent the message to his girlfriend, explaining, however, that the expression used did not refer to a desire to take his own life, but rather solely to a desire to end the relationship. The intervention therefore concluded with a clarification of the situation and without the need for further action.
