Vigevano, attack with clubs and sticks on Corso Pavia: three Egyptian citizens reported

Police identify three suspected perpetrators of violent street attack

The State Police have completed a rapid investigation that has led to the filing of charges against three Egyptian citizens , believed to be responsible for a violent attack that occurred in Corso Pavia in Vigevano . Officers from the Vigevano Public Safety Commissioner's Office responded to numerous reports received via the 112 Emergency Number , indicating the presence of a man being attacked by several people.

The victim was hit with clubs and sticks

According to investigators' reconstruction, the attack was carried out using iron bars and wooden sticks . When emergency responders arrived, the victim was found with obvious facial injuries. The man was rescued and subsequently transported with a yellow code to the San Matteo Hospital in Pavia , where, following medical checks, he was given a 25-day prognosis.

The immediate investigative efforts launched by the Vigevano Police Station allowed the reconstruction of the events. Investigators took statements from those present and acquired video surveillance footage of the attack, enabling them to identify three of the alleged perpetrators. Following the investigation, the three men were reported to the Judicial Authorities at liberty.

The disputed charges

Based on the current state of the case and pending any subsequent judicial investigations, the three suspects have been charged with aggravated assault and possession of offensive objects .
