Pescara, robbery on the coast: three minors arrested by State Police
Three minors responsible for a robbery on the northern coast were arrested.
An episode of juvenile violence and crime rocked the northern coast of Pescara on June 5th. Three young men, all minors, attacked a boy, ripping a necklace from his neck, causing injuries and fear among passersby. The swift intervention of the State Police allowed the perpetrators to be located and arrested in less than half an hour, avoiding further consequences.
The dynamics of the robbery
According to the officers' reconstruction, the three youths approached a group of people walking along the northern shore. One of the three blocked the victim by standing in front of him with a bicycle, while a second struck the boy in the face with a helmet. Finally, the third, with a lightning-fast movement, ripped the necklace from his neck. The victim, in pain, fell to the ground as the minors tried to get away.
The intervention of the State Police
The patrol cars present at the center, thanks to intensified checks ordered by the Police Headquarters and coordinated by the Operations Room, immediately located the three fugitives. The boys, aged 14, 16, and 17, were arrested red-handed for aggravated robbery. The swift action also allowed them to recover the necklace, which was returned to the victim.

Legal consequences and reception of minors
After completing the usual procedures at the Police Headquarters, the three minors were taken to the L'Aquila reception center, which is available to the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Juvenile Court. This incident highlights the effectiveness of the State Police's prevention and intervention protocols, which have ensured swift security and justice.
