Arrested during Operation Rondò
On February 23, 2026, as part of Operation Rondò, which involved the deployment of several Carabinieri units to carry out twenty pre-trial detention orders, Carabinieri from the Montesilvano Company's Mobile Radio Unit arrested a thirty-year-old known to law enforcement. The man was found driving a car near one of the operation's targets.
Violation of house arrest
The young man, who was under house arrest pursuant to a precautionary measure issued by the Preliminary Investigations Judge of the Pescara Court, was found outside his home without any justification. His presence outside his home immediately led to a charge of escape and a report to the competent Judge. The latter, after examining the situation, decided to increase the precautionary measure and issued a detention order.
Arrest and transfer to prison
On February 28, 2026, the Carabinieri of the Operational and Radiomobile Unit of the Montesilvano Company executed the arrest warrant, transferring the thirty-year-old to the San Donato prison in Pescara.
