Rimini, triple arrest: State Police block beach thefts and assaults

Rimini State Police arrested a 26-year-old homeless man for theft from a beach resort. The man had stolen an electric bicycle worth over €1.000 from a bike rack at the beach. The owner, suspicious of the theft, immediately raised the alarm. A patrol car passing through the area intercepted and detained the 26-year-old, returning the bicycle to its rightful owner.

Aggressive youths stopped by the police

Also during the afternoon, the operations center received reports of two young men, aged 21 and 20, harassing customers at the same beach resort. While leaving, one of the men damaged some furniture. Officers responded quickly and located the two a short distance away. Upon seeing law enforcement, the young men reacted aggressively, attempting to attack the staff. Thanks to their professionalism and swift action, the police were able to subdue them, finding a switchblade in the 20-year-old's backpack. Both were arrested for resisting a public official.

The operation demonstrates the effectiveness of local patrols, particularly during peak beach and bathing hours.
