Poggibonsi: A brawl in Piazza Berlinguer between two groups of youths has resulted in six minors reported by the Carabinieri.

Carabinieri investigations after the brawl

The Carabinieri of the Poggibonsi Company, following a comprehensive investigation, have reported six youths, aged between 14 and 17, to the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Juvenile Court of Florence. The juveniles are accused of brawling in connection with an incident that occurred on the evening of April 1, 2026, in the center of Poggibonsi.

The clash in Berlinguer Square

According to the reconstruction by Carabinieri investigators, the youths split into two distinct opposing factions and met in Piazza Berlinguer with the specific and deliberate intention of engaging in a physical confrontation. The fight, described as violent, fortunately ended without any injuries or medical consequences for the participants.

Six minors identified between Poggibonsi and Florence

The investigations conducted by the military allowed them to reconstruct the exact events of the event and identify the six participants in the brawl. They are three Italian citizens and three young people of foreign origin, all legally residing in Italy, residing or domiciled between the Val d'Elsa municipality and the province of Florence. The youths will now be held accountable for their actions before the Florence Juvenile Justice Authority.
