Two top players leaving Serie A, Dumfries to Real Madrid and Ederson to United
Real Madrid will pay 20 million for Dumfries from Inter, while Ederson moves from Atalanta to Manchester United for 45 million.
The summer transfer window opens with two key signings for our league. Denzel Dumfries leaves Inter for Real Madrid, who will pay his €20 million release clause, while Ederson moves from Atalanta to Manchester United for €45 million. These two deals will inevitably lead Inter and Atalanta to look for reinforcements.
Dumfries bids farewell to Inter
The Dutch full-back, who arrived at Milano from PSV in the summer of 2021, he reached an agreement with the Real Madrid on the recommendation of José Mourinho, who is called upon to replace Dani Carvajal. The transfer, expected between July 1st and 15th with the payment of the clause, will bring the Nerazzurri a capital gain of approximately €15 million between amortization and contract renewal. The Nerazzurri will focus entirely on their main objective: filling the gap left by the Dutchman, namely Marco Palestra of Cagliari.
Ederson flies to Manchester United
The Brazilian midfielder moves from Atalanta ai Red Devils for 45 million including bonuses. The contract is for four years with an option for a fifth, until 2031. Ederson, long followed by top European clubs, has chosen Manchester as his priority destination, guaranteeing the Bergamo club a profitable deal ahead of the summer transfer window. Ederson's arrival strengthens Manchester United's midfield and aims to reshape their midfield for next season's Premier League and Champions League campaigns.
