Mexico beats South Africa 2-0 and South Korea defeats the Czech Republic 2-1

Mexico and South Korea made a winning debut in Group A of the 2026 World Cup. Aguirre's team defeated South Africa 2-0 at the Estadio Azteca, while South Korea beat the Czech Republic 2-1 in Guadalajara to secure their first three points of the tournament's group stage.
