Precautionary measure following the Flying Squad investigation

The State Police have executed a precautionary house arrest order with the use of an electronic bracelet against a woman from the province of Teramo. She is believed, under investigation, to be responsible for the crime of aggravated stalking of a psychiatrist working at the Teramo Hospital. The order was executed in recent days by personnel from the Flying Squad of the Teramo Police Headquarters, as part of an investigative effort coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office, which concluded with the issuance of the precautionary measure by the investigating judge of the Teramo Court.

Psychiatrist targeted after woman's hospitalization

According to investigators' findings, the woman, a previous criminal, allegedly engaged in harassing and threatening behavior toward the doctor, who works in the Psychiatry Department of the Teramo hospital, where she had previously been hospitalized. The alleged behaviors allegedly occurred throughout the month of July, with a series of repeated incidents that created a climate of intense fear and concern in the doctor and his family.

Threats also made via the internet and the doctor's family was involved

During the investigation, investigators gathered evidence that led them to hold the woman responsible for alleged stalking, including serious threats, some of which were spread online. According to the prosecution, the intimidation was not limited to the specialist, but also involved his family members, increasing the level of pressure and fear experienced by the victim.
